Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna are reuniting for Pushpa: The Rule – Part 2! The film’s shoot started today, August 22, with a pooja ceremony.
This is a Telugu action drama based on the story of red sandalwood smugglers in Seshachalam Hills. The film is written and directed by Sukumar.
Pushpa is a low-wage laborer who starts off as a coolie and soon gets into the red sandalwood smuggling syndicate. He uses his wit and intelligence to win the trust of the Reddy brothers.
The film is directed by Sukumar and he casts Allu Arjun as the lead hero. The movie is a gangster drama with a bit of a romance.
While this is a story with a lot of promise, there are a few problems. First of all, it features a silly romantic track that is hardly worth watching.
Secondly, the characterisation of women is underwhelming. Rashmika Mandanna plays Srivalli and her rustic exuberance is a letdown.
She begins to fall in love with Pushpa but she is unaware of his interest. So Kesava decides to stir up their romance.
Pushpa: The Rule – Part 2 stars Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil. It is expected to be more action-packed than the first part.
Allu Arjun is a standout in this film, especially during the tussle for power with Peter Hein and Ram-Laxman. His character is a whirlwind of energy and quirky mannerisms, but there are moments when his vulnerability is unveiled.
The film also features Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli. She gets to play a character that’s misplaced in this world.
Her romantic scene with Pushpa sees her required to exude rustic exuberance, but it’s sadly not enough for this story.
In his early years, Pushpa worked as a mill labourer and didn’t believe in owing respect to the owner of the mill for providing him with his deserved wages. People around him knew that he would make it big in life, and so, he joined Kesava.
The OTT debut of Allu Arjun’s action flick Pushpa: The Rise has taken the world by storm – and now, the film is gearing up for its sequel. The sequel is titled Pushpa: The Rule – Part 2.
The movie stars Allu Arjun as an ambitious, daily wage worker who descends into the world of red sanders smuggling. The film follows his efforts to rise in the ranks of the smuggling trade and the cat and mouse battle between smugglers and police.
Fahadh Faasil plays the antagonist Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, while Rashmika Mandanna reprises her role as Pushpa’s love interest. The movie also features a stellar ensemble cast, including the likes of Srinu Vytla, Jaali Reddy, and a host of other actors.
After months of waiting, the trailer for Telugu film Pushpa has finally dropped and it promises to be a mass entertainer. The trailer is a treat to the eyes with a lot of forest-based action shots and a rustic set-up.
Allu Arjun has teamed up with Sukumar for this sequel to his hit movie Pushpa: The Rise, which released in December 2021. The film was a huge hit at the box office and received excellent responses from fans across the world.
Despite being a Telugu film, it has been released in multiple languages like Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. Allu Arjun and his co-star Rashmika Mandanna are reprising their roles in the sequel.
The movie is directed by Sukumar and has music by Devi Sri Prasad. The film also features Fahadh Faasil in the role of Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, an IPS officer who is trying to take over Pushpa’s life.
